Recent Commercial Photography Shoot

Between commercial photography shoots, real estate photography shoots, filling prints orders, and having family in town. I have been busy lately... Not a lot of new pretty landscape photography to share. But I thought I'd share some photos I recently shot for a client who builds big buildings in the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay area. These are images that they will use on their website and in their marketing efforts.

I shoot for the company about once a year, this time I had seven big projects to shoot in two days. It's a lot of work, but I always end up with a lot of "keeper" photos for them. Here's a few:

Does anybody recognize that building in the distance? I'll give a hint, this one was in Sacramento, California.

Alright... I had to stop shooting in this room and just enjoy the moment for a minute. These television-like panels were displaying animated art and they were all synchronized together. I loved it!!! If I wasn't on the job, I would have grabbed a drink and just chilled in this room for an hour, enjoying the creativity.

Hopefully I'll have time to get out for some landscape photos soon. We have a bit of snow on the ground now, but not too much. It's a great time of year for hiking with the camera. Another storm or two and it becomes more difficult.

New Tahoe Weekly Cover Shot, Cheers!

Woohoo! I'm celebrating another cover shot on the Tahoe Weekly today. This was shot a few years ago, at the same aspen grove that I posted about a few days ago.

It was shot in 2018, so I had made a post about the details on the blockchain. It can be found HERE.

The print edition of the Tahoe Weekly is now available at newsstands all around the Tahoe area. I had to swing by Downtown Truckee today to pick up a copy and get a selfie in front of Gallery 5830', one of the art galleries I sell my prints out of. Quill dog got to go for a nice big walk downtown while we were there.

Here's what the original image looks like, as always, available for ordering as large fine art prints. Canvas prints are printed by me personally. (Interested in purchasing a print with hive or other crypto? Message me!)

Like I said... Cheers! Or, ¡Salud! since I'm having a little pour of tequila before I start cooking a ribeye and artichoke. Yup, it's that kind of an evening :)

My Photo On The New Tahoe Quarterly Magazine Cover, WooHoo!!!

Bucket list item - CHECK! One of my Secret Cove, Lake Tahoe photos was recently licensed for use on the Tahoe Quarterly magazine cover.

I've lived in Truckee for 20 years now and over the years I've had my Tahoe area images on many different publication covers (and I appreciate each and every one), I've had my images on the inside of Tahoe Quarterly many many times... But this is my first Tahoe Quarterly cover!!!

In my opinion, as far as print quality and clarity, Tahoe Quarterly always has the best covers locally. The inside pages are always great print quality too, and the articles and photos are always top-notch. When I shoot real estate photography, I almost always see this publication on the coffee tables of high-end homes, and it is available for purchasing anywhere magazines are sold in the Truckee/Tahoe/Reno area.

Scott Shots Photo NFTs Now Available!

 I've been busy lately, shooting lots of new photos, printing prints, and now minting NFTs! I have photo NFTs now available on three different sites. OpenSea, Rarible, and Lensy. I had created some NFTs a while ago but a recent sale motivated me to create more. 

Some of these NFTs are static images, some have motion added to the photo. They can all be downloaded as high resolution images after purchasing and they can be displayed on computer monitors, televisions, tablets, or phones.
